The Women's Football Alliance bestowed the 2012 League Awards during the half-time ceremony of the National Championship Game, which took place on August 4th at Heniz Stadium in Pittsburgh. Two separate Tribe members received awards for their work on and off the field. Wide Receiver, Lara Guscott, was named the Offensive Player of the Year for the American Conference, and Tribe Owner/General Manager, Mindy White, was named Owner of the Year for the American Conference. Congratulations Ladies!

American Conference Falls 20-21 in WFA All American Game |

The American Conference All Stars elected to attempt a two-point conversion to win the game in the closing minutes of the 2012 All American Game, but the effort was stopped short of the goal line. Tribe players Keke Blackmon, Lara Guscott, Jenny Schmidt, Liz Sowers and Mindy White participated in the game. Schmidt threw for one of the three touchdowns in the game, connecting with Dallas Diamonds receiver, Umeki Webb.

Tribe Defeats Slam 42-17 to Advance to Quarter-Finals vs. Dallas Diamonds |

The Tribe defeated the St. Louis Slam 42-17 to advance to the quarter-finals of the WFA play-offs. The Tribe will travel to Dallas to take on the Diamonds, the same team that knocked the Tribe out of the 2011 play-offs 23-20 in overtime.
